New Chief, Lots of Expectations.

Lt General Syed Asim Muneer as new chief, General Shamshad Mirza as SJCSC Appointed.  

            President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Dr Arif Alvi signed  the new Primacy COAS summery sent by PM Shehbaz sharif.

PM has Named LT General Syed Asim Muneer the new  COAS  and General Shamshad Mirza as SJCSC Pakistan, Who are  to be appointed on 29th after the retirement of current chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa,

Appointment of COAS have always remained paradoxical and a turbulent adjudication for government’s. 

Although COAS appointment is Subtle constitutionally based on seniority unbiasedness and shouldn’t be a propaganda either, as chief of army staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa’s longest tenure of 6 year’s came to an end finally, new chief’s appointment remained a serious issuance for the PDM,

The coalition government had the right to appoint new chief but they were reluctant thus far.

For the appointment of new chief PM shehbaz sharif departed for London to visit his brother Nawaz sharif for a debate on the appointment as the appointment won’t be viable until Nawaz doesn’t agree’s, while Zardari endeavouring  in appointing  his own favourite, after long consideration when PM named General Syed Asim Muneer,  the very next barricade was ex PM Imran Khan, after the appointment of Asim Muneer, president left the capital immediately to visit IK at his current residence Lahore, Zaman park, to talk over the appointment if to sign on the summary or not, the rumours had already escalated that IK would not sign as Asim was not his favourite and he would spread anarchy in the country by problematic steps.

How ever after tumultuous predictions regarding IK’s acceptance and president’s sign all the tittle-tattle left rumours, Albeit the president signed on the summary 

Lt General Syed Asim Muneer Shall officially  be the New chief army staff holding his office duty from 29th of November, Asim Muneer is amongst most senior General’s after General Bajwa and among the 6 deservers named in summary for chief, he also holds many awards on his name, Asim Muneer is going to be the only Chief of army staff in the 75 year’s history of Pakistan chief’s as Hafiz E Quran,

“His appointment may bring prosperity and peace in the country” people hopes.!


The appointment of army chief have always last a pivotal issue in the country politically, since all parties relay on establishment and claims that the party that has establishment’s support by their side shall be choosen to rule. 

The intervention of establishment in politics where remained a propaganda it also is welcomed by these parties simultaneously.

Parties have always blamed establishment as the existential responsible power behind in bringing a party into power.

PTI’s government was lab-bled “Selected” by the opposition, and PDM’s government is named as “Imported” by Ex PM Imran Khan and his party.

On the other hand establishment have always asserted being neutral in countries politics.

On his farewell speech chief, Qamar Javed Bajwa said that “the establishment have pondered to part ways and remain netrual in politics since February”,

His statement have raised Q’s? As he actually agreed to the intervention of army in politics since 50’s.

He further added “ 1971 tragedy was political lose not establishment’s fault” but he may have forgotten that it was under Yahya Khan’s regime 71’s lugubrious incident took place.

The intervention of establishment is always questioned and criticised in the country, establishment has their own criteria and should not interfere in politics leaders claims.

The newly appointed chief Asim Muneer is amongst those who have remained a propaganda, that weather he would stay neutral or repeat the history, while he can prove to make a good upcoming 3 year’s history by serving country well, bringing prosperity and stability,

As country already been through agony, economy tanked, inflation at peak, the default is nearly 90% prior to the recent economist report.

 In order to coverup all the mess, the only solution is stability, unity, and understanding between the political leaders and positive role of institutions.

University of Balochistan yet again closed!!

     By Syed Wakeel Ahmed  It is not the the first time that the pioneer university of Balochistan is closed for all kind of educational activities for students. University of Balochistan, the pioneer Government university in the province is yet again closed for all the students and faculty members, it is quite flabbergasting that this time it is the faculty members who suspended the university and boycotted from the classes.   The joint action committee of UOB yesterday has released a statement in which they pondered on boycotting from classes further in the university, prior to the excesses of the VC. Statement of the JAC of UOB claimed that there salaries of last 2 months are not been issued to them by the VC which is affiliated with government of Balochistan directly, which is why they had to take this conglomerator    step of boycotting from taking classes further until or unless they are not issued there salaries. Political crisis and its implications on Pakistan’s economy.
